Nicolas Martinez is a comprehensive family law attorney protecting the interest of individual clients and their families throughout South Florida. Mr. Martinez applies his extensive legal expertise and litigation experience to provide incisive and personalized advice and analysis to each individual matter. It is his personal philosophy to treat every client with the same care and respect that he would have for a member of his family. Mr. Martinez works with a team of experts including: forensic accountants; financial advisors; parent coordinators and family therapists. Nicolas Martinez
Born and raised in South Florida, Nicolas completed his undergraduate studies at Florida International University in 2010 and earned his Juris Doctor degree from Florida International University College of Law in 2013. During law school, Nicolas was a founding member of the Society of Legal Entrepreneurship (“SOLE”). Nicolas also clerked for the Honorable Maria M. Korvick and the Honorable Celeste Hardee Muir of the Probate Division of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court. Prior to establishing his own practice, Mr. Martinez gained valuable experience at two boutique family law firms specializing in multifaceted and high net worth cases.

Part of the team that represented Venezuelan model and social media influencer Shannon De Lima in her divorce from singer and music mogul Marc Anthony. Represented Ms. De Lima from the initiation of the dissolution of the marriage through the negotiation of a confidential settlement agreement in favor of Ms. De Lima.
Represented numerous clients, from the CEO of a world-famous liquor brand to young professionals, in the negotiation, drafting and execution of prenuptial agreements.
Part of a team of lawyers that represented a wife in a highly-contested 6-day family law trial that resolved complex issues of child custody and parental responsibility, in the best interest of the child.
Numerous paternity actions successfully establishing the Father’s paternal rights and securing a time-sharing schedule in the best interest of the child(ren), often where the Mother actively alienated the Father from his child(ren).
